Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern access to and use of the online course "Capitalys" (hereinafter "the Course"), published by Hugo De Moura Andrade Bastos, sole proprietor based in Lisbon (Portugal), and accessible at https://capitalys.co.
Any order placed on the site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
Article 2 — Product and price
Product: online course on investment education, including 18 modules, interactive simulators, quizzes, and tax information for 16 countries.
Price: €49 incl. VAT, one-time payment, in euros.
Payment methods: credit card via the secure Stripe platform (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Article 3 — Access to the Course
Access to the Course is immediate upon payment confirmation by Stripe. The Buyer receives access via their personal account on https://capitalys.co.
Duration of access: permanent. The Buyer retains access to the Course for an unlimited duration, subject to the continued operation of the service.
Updates: the Buyer benefits from content updates to the Course, without any commitment as to frequency or quantity on the part of the Publisher.
Article 4 — Waiver of right of withdrawal
Important notice: in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (transposed into Portuguese law by Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied on a non-material medium when performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they will lose their right of withdrawal.
By proceeding to payment, the Buyer:
- Expressly requests immediate access to the Course;
- Acknowledges that performance of the contract begins upon payment confirmation;
- Acknowledges losing their 14-day right of withdrawal as soon as access to the Course is granted.
Consequently, no refund may be claimed once access to the Course has been granted, except in exceptional cases left to the discretion of the Publisher (major technical issue, double billing, etc.).
Article 5 — Intellectual property
All Course content (text, videos, illustrations, simulators, educational structure) is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of the Publisher.
The Buyer benefits from a strictly personal and non-transferable right of access for their own use. The following are notably forbidden:
- Sharing login credentials with a third party;
- Copying, reproducing, or redistributing the content in whole or in part;
- Recording, capturing, or rebroadcasting the modules;
- Using the content for commercial or third-party educational purposes.
Any breach constitutes infringement and may result in immediate suspension of the account without refund, as well as legal proceedings.
Article 6 — Liability and educational nature
The Course is exclusively educational. It in no way constitutes personalised investment advice. The Publisher is not a regulated financial advisor.
The Buyer acknowledges that any investment decision is their sole responsibility. The Publisher cannot be held liable for financial losses related to decisions made by the Buyer, or for the evolution of markets or financial products mentioned as examples.
Article 7 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, accessible from the site.

Article 9 — Modification of Terms
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of the order.
Article 10 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon (Comarca de Lisboa), Portugal, subject to any mandatory provisions to the contrary applicable to consumers residing in another EU Member State.
